Independently actuable underwinding clearers are mounted adjacent to those lower portions of the machine's spindle assemblies upon which yarn underwindings are placed preparatory to the formation of yarn packages upon the upper portions of the spindle assemblies. Upon actuation thereof during each cycle of package building operation of the textile machine, the clearers separate the lengths of yarn interconnecting the underwindings with the yarn packages undergoing formation upon the spindle assemblies. The clearers preferably are actuated sequentially and pneumatically. A preferred mode of actuation of the clearers is by blasts of air emitted from a mobile servicing apparatus, such as a conventional pneumatic traveling cleaner, during movement of the apparatus along the length of the textile machine.

A textile machine with an annular spinning machine contains at least one row of spindles 1 mounted on a spindle bar 2 rotatably with respect to vertical axes in slot 3 by means of a braid pressed against the blocks of 5 spindles. Each spindle has a double-flange bushing 6 for forming a yarn 7, the upper flange 8 and the upper part 9 of which are knurled. A cartridge 10 with a yarn coiled on it is mounted above the sleeve 6 on the spindle, which is laid out along the cobs with the help of a ring 13 with a slider fixed on the ring bar 12.
Each spindle on the spindle bar is equipped with a device for
separating the cob from the body of the cob II, having an executive organ, which is a curved plate 14 with a rectangular flat surface 15 and two lateral flat surfaces 16 and 17 bent to one side and having a triangular shape. A separating edge 18 is made on the surface 17. The device has an executive body holder, which is an L-shaped rod 19 placed vertically with the lower end of the spindle bar 2 and fixed to it with the help of a washer and screw 20 passing through the hole in the spindle shelf timber.

The machine has means for moving the plates into the zone of rotation of the cut 24 yarn connecting the reel 7 with the body of the cob 11. It is mounted on the machine for movement along a number of spindles by means of the carriage 25 and acting alternately on each plate or group of plates 14, surface 15 each of which is located opposite the means for moving them. This means is a down blower 26 (Fig. 1} or a device for picking 27 yarns (Fig. 2), which are equipped with a nozzle 28 located at the level of the plates 14. The blower has sleeves 29 and moves along the upper guides 30, and A device for picking is placed on the upper 31 and lower 32 guides with the possibility of reciprocating along them.
The means for moving the plates can be made in the form of a common duct 33 connected to the air supply source 34, placed along the machine and having branches 35 according to the number of spindles, directly connected to the duct or grouped and connected to it via electromagnetic valves 36 and collector valves piping 37. The valves 36 are actuated in series from a common switch 38 (Fig. 8).
A possible embodiment of the executive body of the device for separating the sub-wind in the form of a plate 39 of a triangular shape with two separating edges 40 and 41

The nozzle 28 can continuously supply air flow in the direction of the plates or briefly at the moment the puff-blower or the tapering device approaches the corresponding spindle. Such operation of the nozzle can be achieved by means of electronically controlled valves or valves (not shown).
When using the means for moving the plates (Fig. 8), the air is supplied sequentially to each or a group of plates by alternately turning on the electro-magnetic valves 36.
In the embodiment of the device according to Figs. 9-11, when exposed to the air flow, the plate 39 is rotated by means of rods k2 and 3 and occupies a vertical position in which one of its separation edges 0 and M enters the rotation zone of the 2k yarn segment and breaks it. The stopper of the rotation of the plate is the bent end 5 of the rod 2 or the screw 6 on the rod 3 abutting against the spindle. If, instead of using a 2C nozzle, a flexible rod 51 is used, the latter acts as it moves along p springs on the inclined edge of the plate, causing it to turn in the direction of the spindle, bending to pass along the plate.

1. A textile machine comprising at least one row of spindles rotatably mounted with respect to predominantly vertical axes and having in the lower part an area for forming a reel connected to the spad on the spindle with a yarn section, devices for separating the spindle from the spad cob, each of which is mounted on a spindle beam at the spindle and has an executive body with a separating edge, and means for moving the executive eagles to the zone of rotation of the segment
